Cailtlin’s career began in ad tech, where she thrived at multiple high-growth startups before moving to NBCU.
During her time in ad tech, she met her husband, had a baby, and just as she was preparing to re-enter the workforce, she received a life-altering diagnosis: an incurable bone cancer called leukemia.
Despite this challenge, Cate’s career remained a core part of her identity. She found renewed purpose in her work, valuing the opportunity to create and interact with people.
Her perspective on her career shifted, focusing less on promotions or raises and more on fulfillment and contribution.
If she were to write a book it would be called “Love letters in ad tech”, reflecting on her journey and many stories throughout her 17 years in the space.
Her favorite hobbies are driving her five-year-old to soccer, baseball, and karate multiple times a week.
