Our vision for empowering over 100,000 African technology leaders is to create a distributed community that everyone can access and contribute to.


Through the DLC, Andela is supporting programs for everyone from Android experts to high school entrepreneurs. Check out a few examples below.

Android Learning Community

In 2017, we launched a partnership program with Google and Udacity to prepare aspiring Android developers by leveraging Andela’s Learning Science. Currently, the program supports over 2,000 learners across Nigeria.

Andela Student Ambassadors

Andela Student Ambassadors are student leaders dedicated to supporting technologists at top universities across Africa.

Teen Code Africa

An initiative geared towards building a foundation for the future generation of Africa’s tech leaders in high schools. Partnering with Global Peace Foundation in Kenya, TeenCode and GirlsCode in Nigeria, Andela Developers teach students how to build programs that solve useful problems.
