Meet Francis Ishmail: This is his story.
Francis, a Senior Project Manager, lives in Nairobi, Kenya with his wife and their two young daughters. He began his tech journey studying for an BSc in Computer Science at Jomo Kenyatta University, Nairobi. While completing his masters, he discovered a passion for project management, quickly progressing to leadership roles in a variety of industries.
A keen entrepreneur, Francis has established several successful businesses in Kenya, from a local car wash to a restaurant. As a leader, Francis is motivated by helping others to succeed, offering positions in his enterprises to members of his local community.
In 2022, Francis suffered a serious health crisis and was admitted to ICU which made him reevaluate his lifestyle. Now a fitness enthusiast, he encourages members of the Andela community to follow his lead.
