Creating dream roles in product management: Andela and Knowledge Officer

Building product management skills together

At Andela we’re all about ensuring that our talent can access the skills and knowledge they need to grow their careers.

As part of this vision, we’re partnering with Knowledge Officer to help our Product Manager community in the Middle East and Africa grow and evolve to meet the challenges of the future workplace – and to encourage technologists to consider a career switch to product management.

Knowledge Officer was founded in 2016 with a mission to empower a generation of lifelong learners and to help people, however busy, learn something new and relevant every day to help them achieve their career goals.

With teams in Egypt, India and the UK they partner with leading companies to offer a unique remote learning experience, combining personalized learning paths through their app alongside remote expert-led sessions, mock interviews, hands-on projects, and one-on-one mentorship from leading professionals at top tech companies.

This partnership will enable graduates from their Product Management Career Accelerator to access the world of opportunities that the Andela Talent Network offers, providing them with access to global organizations as they expand their careers in the technology industry.

A growing community in the Middle East

Knowledge Officer’s strong presence in the Middle East enables us to expand our reach among the product management community in this area, tapping into a skill base who have taken advantage of Knowledge Officer’s training programs.

During this partnership, we’re going to expand both company’s reach into the product management sector, delivering more opportunities for those with the skills and a deeper pool of talent for our global clients.

This will include a range of online activities, including webinars, to expand the base of skills available through the Andela Talent Network, as well as extending the content that we offer to the members of the network.

The path to a career in product management isn’t always clear, but the combined efforts of Andela and Knowledge Officer means that we’ll be able to ensure that this vital community has access to world-class training resources and that they can leverage the power of the Andela Network – ensuring that newly graduated product managers can put their skills to good use in driving innovation at organizations around the world.
