Andela and Acacia: Healthcare for technologists based in Ghana

We've partnered with Acacia to ensure that Ghanaian Andela Talent Network members can now benefit from health insurance through Andela. Acacia offers innovative products and benefit options that offer true value regarding health coverage. As the preferred health insurance company in Ghana, Acacia provides comprehensive healthcare for all its members, including hospital consultations, surgeries, dental care, prescribed drugs, and optical care.

We're bringing Acacia's health coverage exclusively to our network of Andelans based in Ghana, so to participate in the healthcare scheme, you'll be required to pay for coverage yourself.

With Acacia health coverage, you'll receive:

• Monthly premiums* starting at GHS 120, with a one year commitment.
• Inpatient care - GHS 30,000 - 100,000 per policy year**.
• Outpatient care - GHS 3,000 - 10,000 per policy year**.
• Coverage at a wide variety of hospitals and health care providers. 
• Dental care - GHS 400 - 1,200 per policy year**.
• Optical Frames and Lenses - GHS 200 - 700 per policy year**.
• No waiting periods to access health care. 
• 1-year waiting period for maternity benefit.

*Anyone in the Andela Talent Network will be able to access the offering, it doesn't matter if you are on an active engagement or are still looking for one.
**This is not a direct benefit Andela is covering; this is an offering brought exclusively to our network of Andelans. Andela contractors will be responsible for paying their premiums.
