As part of our ongoing talent strategy, Andela is seeking to widen our opportunity scope with the addition of more Product Manager/Management roles, starting in January 2022. This workshop offers the chance for any technologists who are interested in a career in Product Management to discover more about the role.
About the Session:
This workshop is for anyone that is interested in the Product Management career path, how the Product Management industry has evolved in the past 10 years, the history of the Product Management industry, and what it will look like in the near future. If you want to find a job in this industry, this session is for you!
The discussion will cover:
- History of Product Management — Getting to know the history of this trending topic.
- Product Management now and in the future — What does the future of the PM industry look like? And how can you keep up with the changes?
- How can Andela help you to find a job within the PM stack? — We are introducing the Product Management tech stack into our Talent Network in early 2022.

Ahmed will shed light on the history of Product Management since 1931 and how the career has evolved in the past 10 years. He will also share his expertise gained from meeting 100+ Senior Product Managers and VPs around the world and the reflection of Knowledge Officer’s programs which have trained over 1000 Product Managers in recent years. El-Sharkasy will also discuss some upcoming Product Management trends and detail how companies and professionals can be resilient in order to thrive.
