This event is over but it’s recapped in our blog by Jackie Bavaro. Check it out!

Talks at Andela is a webinar series open to the tech ecosystem in Africa and beyond, with the aim of connecting tech thought-leaders and experts around the world with engineers; sharing experiences, lessons, and advice in multi-faceted tech and tech-related topics.

In this first webinar of 2021, we host Jackie Bavaroco-author of Cracking the PM Interview and Cracking the PM Career, former Head of Product Management at Asana.

Product management can be incredibly impactful and fulfilling, but how do you get started in the field and what does it take to succeed as a PM?

In this talk, Jackie will touch on some of the top lessons learned as she researched her new book, Cracking the PM Career. She’ll cover topics including:

  • What does a PM do?
  • Who would like being a PM?
  • How do I become a PM?
  • How do I design creative products that succeed?
  • How do I manage my time and keep my team moving quickly?
  • What is a product strategy?
  • How do I create a long term roadmap?
  • How do I manage stakeholders?
  • What does it take to advance?

The event is free and open to the public. Register to join us!
